I've just added a new mobile theme, available from your User Control Panels.

It's called Artodia: Mobile Blue, and should work on all your fancy mobile devices, and it has a few more options than the current, default mobile theme.

Currently, the forum autodetects mobile devices and switches to the default phpBBmobile theme, so if this detection interferes with this new theme in any way, then please let me know here and I'll try and remove the autodetect part of it so that users can choose from their UCP instead.

Pretty sure autodetect needs to be turned off. Picking up standard mobile skin ATM.

Right you are, thanks. I'll go and see if I can find the right code to remove. :geek:

Should be a bit of an improvement once it's sorted.

Have messed with the settings... need a guinea pig now to test it. :D

Any takers? You just need to use your mobile device, to visit the forum, then try picking the new mobile theme from within your UCP.

And... does it work?

Changed to new theme.

Two issues -

1. Got an error when clicking the button to post a reply.

2. It set the same theme when accessing via my laptop.

Many thanks, best disabled for now until I figure out what file appears to be missing. Cheers O-Dog.

Any progress Con? Mine still saves the change of theme when I use the forum on my computer, and vise versa.

I've not had time to look at it yet no, but I will be revisiting it as soon as I can. There is software available that should let me view it as a mobile does so I will try to get something done on that front.

And yeah, the auto-detection script has been disabled, it has to be in order to use any other mobile themes as the detection script hijacked the settings for it's own theme (they came as a pair). So for now you'll have to just keep changing the settings, or manage with the default theme on your mobile... which I'm told works fairly well anyway on mobiles?

Will keep you all updated as and when I sort something out.
