So who will the forums #1 goalkeeper from 2012 be?

My vote goes to Joe Hart he's been in excellent form over most of the season and has only just started having a little dip. He's only young and could go on to be a great keeper. It's just a shame he plays for City.

Where's Cassillas?

:p

Edit: Totally forgot to get my nominations in this year and Iker has my vote won La Liga and capatained Spain to Euro 2012.

I'm voting for Buffon won the league in Italy with Juventus going undefeated and also led Italy to the Euro 2012 final.

For me Hart makes too many mistakes, which get overlooked. Buffon all the way :fonz:

Casillas has been dropped, such has been his form for Real.

You know what Paks like. He's probably voted JSP for woman of the year or something.

Can't believe no one nominated him I personally think should've been short listed for the Ballon D'or considering his achievements this year.

It's actually an interesting one. The media think he was dropped deliberately by Mourinho has an attempt to get sacked.

It appears he's systematically dropping the Spanish players to show them who's boss as he did it to Sergio Ramos earlier in the season.

He seems to be trying to show them that he's the only one with power at the club and they need to get in line as the reports are that the Spanish players want him gone as they feel the Portugese players are getting special treatment.

Buffon's been great, Hart has made too many mistakes this season to be considered seriously and De Gea even being nominated boggles the mind. He's not even the best Manchester United goalkeeper of 2012.

I personally really don't get the appeal of Real Madrid. It's all about short term success and the squad is always filled with prats.
