 I hate gambling, and Spain do obviously have a good chance, but I think without Villa they're not going to be as fluid and potent. No doubt Llorente can come in and is a quality player though.

My money is on Germany.

Well in actual fact your money is now on anyone but Spain.

Torres is going to hit form bang on time and Spain retain.

No Puyol either, might prove a hindrance to them.

Not sure if Llorente will be the replacement for Villa, I'm sure Soldado would have something to say about it.

I reckon your money maybe safe fella. No Puyol, Pique's been out of form, Silva's looked tired, no Villa... you should've gone big!!

Con, RJ and Sagem need to get 3 sticks of varying length.

Longest stick gets a choice, shortest stick gets the last. Middle stick gets sweet FA.

Spain are a tricky one to call not sure what their defence is going to be like without Puyol and Pique isn't in great form.

Also, those Barca boys this year have relied largely on a tactic of give the ball to Messi so when they play with Spain what do they do when it comes to the final 3rd.

I know they've tried playing Silva as the "false 9" striker but who knows.

The smart money is on Germany their big players are all bang in form and they have depth to the squad in pretty much all areas. Holland have 2 of the best goal scorers in Europe in RVP & Huntelaar but their creative midfield players Sneijder & VDV aren't really on song at the moment.

My outside bet would be France think they've got a good young hungry side with plenty of quality going forward if it clicks for them they could be a real threat.
